Match Report: Wheatley 14 - 15 Abingdon

Victory at last! Abingdon finally recorded a win after a run of 5 straight defeats, winning 15-14 away to Wheatley on Saturday. Playing against the wind in the first half Abingdon pulled out to a 15-0 lead, with two great trys from centres Frazer McCains and Colin Turner, and a conversion and penalty from Ian Thompson.
Wheatly scored on the half time whistle to go 15-7 down, Abingdon conceaded another try early in the second half but showed great spirit to hold on to win 15-14.
