Match Report: Swindon College 24-30 Abingdon

The season ended at Abingdon with both the 1st and 2nd XV winning their respective games. The 1st XV travelled to Swindon College Old Boys in BBO Premier and recorded a 30-24 win in probably the best performance of the season. After falling 10-0 behind early on, Abingdon responded with style and spirit that belied their position in the league. Tries from Vince Barnes x 2, Steve Grant, Eva  Everton, Jesse Mortimer plus one conversion and penalty  moved to a 30-19 lead, a late try by Swindon had no impact on the final result. The 2rd XV had a good result against Harwell 2nd in the BBO 2 winning 34-5.
