Match Report: Abingdon 13 - 16 Stow-on-the-Wold

A much improved display by Abingdon in the the game against Stow proved just
insufficient in securing another win. An early penalty by Corbin Turner was cancelled by a penalty by Stow. A try by winger Vince Barnes saw Abingdon ahead 8-3, but Stow scored just before half time and turned round 10-8 ahead. Following a penalty by Stow early in the second half, Simon North capped a spell of Abingdon pressure by crashing over from short range. The game was finely poised at 13-13, but a late penalty saw Stow home 16-13.
